POSITION PURPOSE
This position provides temporary, project-based assistance in the Energy Markets division at headquarters. The incumbent will gain exposure to Cooperative operations and practices while supporting teams with hands-on tasks and assignments appropriate to their field of study.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Design and develop reporting tools and analytical models to optimize workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Gain Insight to Energy Trading & Risk Management systems, including Allegro, OATI, PCI.
- Assist department staff with assigned tasks, projects, or data entry aligned with field of study.
- Conduct research and analysis.
- Attend and participate in team meetings or training opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, or logs.
- Follow safety, security, and procedural guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student four-year Computer Science, Data Science, Statistic, Economics, Finance, or related program with Sophomore year completed, or recent graduate (within the past 12 months).
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous internship or relevant work experience.
- Additional certifications or coursework in field of study.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position and to move about the office building, occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, constant use of keyboard/computer and other office productivity machinery, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination.
