POSITION PURPOSE
This position is located at our Headquarters building in Bismarck, ND.
This position's anticipated start date would be fall 2026 with an end date in the summer of 2027. During the school year, this position would be part-time and flexible around your school schedule.
This temporary position assists with the writing and strategic communication initiatives of the Communications/Strategic Planning division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Assist the publication editors and other writers to identify stories; schedule and conduct interviews; develop written content, and coordinate the review process; and go through the review process in support of Cooperative and member communications programs.

Contribute content and communication materials for magazines, newsletters, social media, intranet, websites, blogs, presentations, and other communication channels.

Assist with special events and projects, as needed.
- Assist in developing internal communication materials and employee engagement content for the intranet and other employee communication platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student in a two-year communications related program with at least one year completed, or a four-year communications program with at least two years completed, or recent graduate (within the past 12 months).
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous internship or relevant work experience.
- Additional certifications or coursework in field of study.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position and to move about the office building, occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, constant use of a keyboard/computer and other office productivity machinery, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds.

Wage: $21.50-23.50/hour
